Mark and Susan Venables, took the stage in front of a select group of HIMSS Europe delegates in Brussels on the 18th January 2011. The delegation was made up of representatives from IT companies and healthcare providers from across Europe.
The question they posed to the audience was “Is your Marketing Healthy?” They then went on to explain through a series of 7 poignant elements and real world case studies, how IT companies need to market themselves if they are to be successful in the healthcare arena. In a world where competition is growing ever more fierce, the companies who have a clear marketing plan and adapt that plan to the changing environments are the ones who will win. They also touched on the every growing importance of social media in the business community and how companies must embrace these new forms of personal marketing and communication if they are to succeed in the 21st century.
