Neil is a director and digital health consultant at Synergy Digital Health Innovation, and was formerly director of digital transformation and chief information officer at an NHS acute trust.
He has more than 25 years of experience in NHS clinical systems development, project, programme management and strategy development and has worked on traditional ‘single system’ electronic patient record developments and on alternative approaches.
Neil says: “One of the big challenges in NHS IT is the need to balance the deployment of familiar technologies with seizing the opportunities presented by innovation, whether that’s AI, or remote monitoring using the latest wearables.”
