Mark Venables, Highland Marketing’s CEO, said: “It is extremely important to support and reward hospital staff during such a difficult time for the NHS. Sponsoring the staff engagement award seemed the perfect opportunity for Highland Marketing to partner with the trust in rewarding those who are making a real difference to the organisation by engaging with their peers.”
The category aims to highlight Individuals and/or teams who have undertaken improvements by engaging, enabling and empowering staff and to significantly make a difference to the quality of care for patients and their families, or to improve the working lives of staff.
The winners will have demonstrated that they have solved problems and met challenges in innovative ways, introduced new ways of working or can provide examples of ideas that are working to make a real difference. The ‘Every One Matters’ award specifically recognises creativity and engagement.
Venables added: “It is fantastic to see accolades being given to staff for their dedication, commitment and innovation and we have been impressed by the inspirational work that is being carried out to continually improve patient care within the trust. We hope that by rewarding staff for their hard work, this will encourage them to continue making a positive difference in healthcare.”
This year’s winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held at the BT Convention Centre, Liverpool on Friday 28 June 2013.
