Highland Marketing named communications partner for HETT North

Leading health tech agency will provide media and content services for the conference and exhibition at Manchester Central in February

Continued collaboration follows success at Healthcare Excellence Through Technology at ExCeL London in 2024

Highland Marketing has been named as the communications partner for the HETT North show, which will take place at Manchester Central on 26 February 2025.

The continued collaboration with the team behind the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology conferences and exhibitions follows the success of the support that Highland Marketing provided for HETT at ExCeL London in September.

The specialist health tech research, PR, marketing and sales support agency will provide media, content and digital services for HETT North, which will take place at a critical time for NHS IT, as the government finalises its 10 Year Health Plan and digital, data and technology strategy.

The event will also have a northern flavour, with commissioners and providers from the Midlands and North showcasing the great work they are already doing to scale innovation and tackle the big challenges facing health and care, from waiting lists to prevention.

Rikki Bhachu, head of marketing at HETT organiser GovNet, said: “We chose Highland Marketing to support HETT because of its excellent reputation in the health tech market, so we are looking forward to continuing to work with its expert team.

“We want to make sure that everybody with an interest in digital transformation knows about HETT and HETT North because of the unparalleled opportunity they present to discuss the current issues and meet some of the leading suppliers from the UK and beyond.”

This year’s HETT North will have a conference built around two streams: a main plenary stream and a digital maturity forum looking at how IT can address waiting lists, support the shift from cure to prevention, support the roll-out of genomic medicine, and bridge the gender health gap and build resilient cyber security defences.

Alongside the conference streams, there will be an insights zone to provide additional networking opportunities and content for attendees and an exhibition on the main show floor to give visitors the chance to meet health tech suppliers and innovators.

Mark Venables, chief executive of Highland Marketing, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting the HETT team once again, at HETT North.

“Conferences and exhibitions are highly valued by NHS digital leaders and exhibitors, and it is great to see the organisers focusing on the health tech landscape outside London and the South.

“We look forward to working with the HETT team before, during and after the event to make HETT North as successful as possible at such a critical moment for healthcare and the health tech industry.”

In addition to media, content, and social media services, Highland Marketing will be working to amplify the views of exhibitors at the show. It will be filming short videos at the event and using social media to spread the most inventive ideas from the exhibition floor.

The Highland Marketing team will also be available throughout the show for one-to-one conversations on effective approaches to health tech marketing and focused communications to the market.

Companies interested in our full range of integrated services should come and find Highland Marketing on its stand or get in touch.
